Tip #1: Plan Your Semester in Advance
- Put all of your tests and major assignments on your calendar
- Schedule the career fair and other events hosted by Career Services
- Schedule other major events
Tip #2: Make a Good Impression With Your Professors
- Introduce yourself to your professors and let them know that you are excited for the semester
- Sit in the front of the class and ask questions
- Visit your professor’s office hours in the first two weeks
Tip #3: Speed Date Student Organizations
- Throughout the first two weeks of the semester, student organizations are recruiting new members. Make sure to attend the info sessions
- Network with student organizations and find your niche
